The Journal
Submission
The Criminology, Victimology, and Security Journal (RCVS) welcomes original scientific contributions for publication in the form of research articles.
Submissions must be sent via e-mail: attached as an electronic file.
Accepted Languages
The Journal accepts articles written in Italian, English, and French.
If the manuscript is not written in Italian, it will be published in the original language, but the editorial board reserves the right to provide an Italian summary alongside the contribution.
Manuscript Structure
The manuscript file (in .doc or .docx format) must include:
• Article title
• Abstract (max 1,000 characters, spaces included) in the original language and in English
• Full text (max 40,000 characters, spaces included)
• Bibliography formatted according to APA style
The manuscript must be anonymous, free of any references that could identify the author, to ensure a review process compliant with the blind peer-review model.
Author Information
In a separate file, the author must provide:
• First and last name
• Institutional affiliation
• Contact e-mail address
• Brief biographical note (max 500 characters, spaces included)
Editorial Guidelines
• Document format: A4
• Font: Garamond, size 11
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Notes: footnotes, numbered progressively
• Figures, tables, graphs: included in the body of the text, in editable format, accompanied by title and source
Citation Style
• Citations and bibliographic references must follow the APA style (latest edition available).
• The final bibliography must be arranged alphabetically by author, and chronologically for publications by the same author. In case of multiple works by the same author in the same year, distinguish with letters (e.g., 2020a, 2020b).

Any requests for clarification can be directed to the same address.
Publication Costs
The Journal does not charge publication fees or article processing fees.
Authors’ Rights
Authors retain the rights to their works.
